encircle

*Please note: the people in this video are describing their experience with the material and principles you will learn in your encircle group, however, as encircle is brand new, they were not part of a specific encircle group - just being absolutely transparent with you!

7 people

7 weeks

7 truths

The mission of encircle is to teach 1 million people worldwide by 2020, the importance and fragility of trust, so that they develop self trust, heal from the hurt experienced in failed relationships and breakdown of trust, and create healthy, happy, trusting relationships going forward.

What is encircle?

This is your chance, in your community group, women's group, cell group, bible study group, youth group, to learn and grow together in the truth about trust!

encircle is facilitated by your group leader, and is designed as a 7 week program to explore the 7 truths about trust in the different modules below. entente provides your facilitator with:

a Facilitator guide

a DVD for your group to watch

a workbook for each participant (for the module you have chosen)

a survey for each participant to complete at the beginning and the end of the module

a coach to report into and provide guidance when needed

What are the modules you can do?

Your group can explore and learn how to build trust in the following areas:

Self Trust - exploring and learning the benefits of self trust, why we sometimes don't trust ourselves, what blocks us from achieving and being the best we can be, finding our purpose, and learning how to trust ourselves.

Parents - exploring and understanding our relationship with our parents, why and how we can sometimes feel let down or 'betrayed,' understanding what motivated our parents and how we can build a better relationship with them, or how to protect ourselves from continuous hurt.

Siblings - exploring and understanding our families and why we often think they are dysfunctional, understanding how the past can keep repeating itself in families, and what unites families and builds trust.

Friends - exploring and understanding friendships, why they come and go, how we can be a better friend to others, why we have the friends we do, and how we can develop more trusting friendships.

Partners - exploring and understanding intimate relationships and marriage, what makes our partner tick, why we feel frustrated and disappointed at times, the difference between love and trust, and how we can build a relationship on a solid foundation of trust.

Children - exploring and understanding parenting, what our children are trusting us for, how to help our children be the best they can be, and how to reduce conflict and bring peace in the parent/child relationship.

Leadership - exploring and understanding our role as leaders of organisations, communities, or any groups, learning how to trust ourselves as leaders as well as build trust with those who rely on us, understanding trustworthy behaviours, how we stack up and developing an action plan for improvement.
